Located in the rolling farm fields of Pennsylvania is a house designed as a Rocky Mountain timber home, including a relocated bank barn to serve as a venue to host events and large gatherings.
In total, RM Kitchens did design work, built custom detailed cabinetry, and performed installation in 23 rooms of the home and barn. The large kitchens located in both structures were created to fit seamlessly into the design of each building.
For example, in the house the range is located in a large “fireplace.”

In the barn the range hood, as built by RM Kitchens, sports a beautiful copper veneer and handmade iron straps to blend with the industrial theme of the party barn.

In both kitchens one can see our Customer’s love of the live edge feature of the eating counter tops, the island top, and a curved walnut wood bar top.
RM Kitchens, along with designer Lee Bachman, wish to express our sincere thanks to the owners; it has been an honor to be so extensively involved in this grand project, and we could not be more proud of the result.
We also wish to acknowledge and give credit to the architectural firm Archer Buchannan from West Chester, PA , and the contractor firm B&D Builders located in Paradise, PA, owner Ben Esh. We also wish to thank metal smith Ryan Mclay who provided the handmade metal work incorporated into our cabinetry.
